There was a time when giants roamed tall mountains and terrorised villagers. But there was also a little girl brave enough to chase them away forever! Inspired by Raden Saleh's painting Merapi, Eruption By Day, master storyteller Kamini Ramachandran shares an Indonesian folktale with lots of audience participation. Suitable for ages 4 and above.

About Stories in Art

Stories in Art takes place every second Saturday and Sunday at 2.30–3.00pm and 3.30–4.00pm. Each month, master storyteller Kamini Ramachandran of MoonShadow Stories tells folktales inspired by different artworks in the Gallery.
