For Red Dot August / Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay

What stories did our forefathers bring with them to this island? What are the stories of Singapura? Go on a roving storytelling tour of Esplanade and discover myths and folktales from India, China and the Malay Archipelago. Follow the storyteller’s clues to find the next location and try to listen to all of their stories!

Performed by young storytellers Charlotte Elizabeth, Athena Wee, Andrea Joy Alingalan and Fahim Murshed. Directed by master storyteller Kamini Ramachandran, these site-specific storytelling experiences are deeply rooted in Asian and regional folklore.
